PROJECT 2

Bryant project in San Francisco had several phases, besides to upgrade a Non-Ductile concrete building for earthquake retrofitting by means of shotcrete. The existing concrete floor was needed to be opened for a tenant approximately 14’x14’ between four corner columns around the opening which required to add FRP on the adjacent bays on existing concrete floor to control the structural slab deflection. Also, the roof had converted to deck which change the code live load from 20 psf to 100 psf which was required the roof to be strengthen by means of FRP. Also, a new mezzanine was installed on third floor as part of the tenant improvement
